This range exists for two moments in a plant's life. The first is the unplanned one — a weep or a pinhole on a live line, where a repair clamp buys the weeks needed to reach a planned outage instead of forcing one today.
The second is the designed-in one. Hot piping grows, cold piping contracts, and both have to slide, hang and rest somewhere. Slide plates, clamps and hangers are made to the pipe support drawings so the movement happens where the stress engineer intended it to.

Bolted split shells with a moulded gasket that seal a pinhole, weep or split while the line stays in service. Because the gasket is compressed by the bolt load rather than the line pressure, the seal actually improves as the clamp is tightened.

A low-friction bearing pair — typically PTFE bonded to a stainless backing plate — that lets a hot line expand across its support without dragging the steelwork with it. Getting the friction coefficient down is what keeps the nozzle loads inside the allowable.

U-bolts, riser clamps, three-bolt clamps, clevis hangers, trapeze assemblies, rod hangers, turnbuckles, beam attachments, shoes and guides — fabricated to MSS-SP-58 and matched to the support drawing rather than picked from a nearest-size catalogue.

Caps that clip or bolt over a machined weld bevel to protect it through handling, stacking, transport and site storage. A bevel that arrives dented has to be re-machined before it can be welded, so the cap is the cheapest insurance on the consignment.

Full-encirclement split sleeves welded around a corroded, dented or mechanically damaged section of pipeline. Type A restores support; Type B is fillet welded to the carrier pipe and becomes pressure-containing in its own right.

Mechanical clamps for a permanent or semi-permanent repair where welding is not possible — flammable service, thin wall, or simply no hot work permit. Supplied in single band, double band and full circle forms, with plain or tapped outlets.
Shell, bolting and sealing material are chosen against the media, temperature and environment together.

Clamps and sleeves are hydrostatically tested to 1.5 times the rated working pressure before dispatch.
